Day 5 - Timing is Everything.

Still having wifi issues.   Promise when I get back we will give a full report.

Today went like clock work.  We used public transportation all day, and never waited longer than 3 minutes for the next bus or boat to arrive.   Very relaxing for Tom!

We headed into Valletta, the capital, and took a boat tour of the harbor, visited St John Cathedral, and wandered the streets. A little shopping, a café break, and lots of exercise.  A very very nice day, albeit Tom's face is extremely sunburn!

Here our a few shots of our adventure.

The best way to see the city is by water

The Knights sure know how to build a Church

We were so glad we were able to close on a new boat while we were here..... Holy Crap.... This was not the biggest one in the harbor
We did find out where a rent-a-car driven by an American goes when they attempt to drive in Valletta.  Momma Cabrini could not help anyone in Valletta.  It would take an intervention from the Almighty to find a parking spot.  The bus and ferry was our friend today!

That is a heap of rent-a-cars!

We waved goodbye to Valletta from our ferry and head back to the hotel by bus.

Another wonderful day!

  1. Glad to hear the public transportation worked well. Momma Cabrini definitely needed a day off, I'm sure!

    1. It is huge also. I think it has rigid sails. I saw it, or one like it, on 60 minutes.
I want to say one of the Google guys own it... could be wrong.
